First things first, prepping for the flight

The day before your flight is crucial. This is how we prep ourselves for the journey ahead.

Manna Kadar’s Exclusive Look from her Orange Coast Magazine Feature!

Recently, we’ve heard a lot of buzz about how Manna Kadar, the CEO/Founder of Manna Kadar Cosmetics, is still creating products to achieve that perfect look, even in her final trimester of pregnancy.

Read the exclusive feature on how Manna balances business, beauty, and her baby bump in Orange Coast Magazine. Get the behind the scenes scoop on the photo shoot, along with secrets to balancing it all.

In the feature, Manna talks about her philosophy behind Manna Kadar Cosmetics. Her goal is to keep beauty simplified with the latest beauty innovations that give women the ability to create their full face of makeup in seven minutes or less. Based on her philosophy her makeup look for this photo shoot was created in seven minutes, using her 3-step system.

Step 1-Prime

Runway Ready Primer was used to prep her face. This face primer gives a matte, silky smooth finish to keep makeup in place all day long. After applying Runway Ready, Lash Primer was used to give extra length and volume to her lashes. This is the perfect primer to enhance and allow your mascara to grip on your lashes for long-lasting wear.

Step 2-Polish

Polish time! Using just a few key products from her line, she was able to achieve that camera ready look. We started with Dual Powder to create an even skin tone and a flawless finish. By applying the powder with a damp sponge, you get more of a full coverage look.

Step 3-Perfect

Moving onto her eyes, a smokey eye was created using a variety of shadows from the Day-Dream Palette. This palette contains six eye shadows that compliment each other extremely well for that perfect smokey eye look. Continuing to use the Day-Dream Palette, the blush was used to give Manna a perfect pinch of pink.

Lastly, our final step to complete this seven-minute makeup look: the finishing touches! Adding the Extreme Curl Mascara on her lashes took the smokey eye look to an eye popping level -thank you Lash Primer! Manna then applied her Lip Locked 3-in-1 Primer, Stain, and Gloss in her favorite shade, Lucky.

And voila, ready for the camera!

We took a majority of the pictures in Manna’s office as the natural sunlight always gives great lighting for photography. Several products that were used in her makeup look were also used as props during the shoot. The photographer was so excited to work with Manna, the pictures were coming out so great that nobody wanted the photo shoot to end!

Team Manna Celebrates National Donut Day While Maintaining the Perfect Pout!

It’s not everyday that we can eat donuts guilt free, since it’s a national holiday we couldn’t turn them down! National Donut Day is on a Friday this year, bringing donuts to the office is the perfect conclusion to the work week.

For this special day we conducted a little experiment. How does Team Manna keep their makeup on point while eating donuts?

Lip products usually end up on your food when you’re trying to eat. Which means you would be consuming that lip product. This is where the benefits of a primer and stain come into place! Our Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lip Locked is a 3-in-1 primer, stain, and gloss. To prevent the consumption of your lip product, the Lip Locked built in primer and stain will keep the color on your lips without the mess while the gloss locks in moisture.

It’s also a great idea to apply a setting spray after applying your makeup so it says in place all day, no matter how many donuts you might eat! If you don’t have a setting spray you can easily use hairspray. Tested by Team Manna, hairspray has a better consistency to hold onto the makeup. Most setting sprays seem to be diluted with water, that’s why we choose hairspray. Just make sure when applying the hairspray to your face that you keep it at a distance and close your eyes and mouth!

Now back to donuts! Team Manna enjoyed signature creations donuts from Poqet Donuts in Irvine, California. A cute boutique donut shop located near our office. Our teams favorite flavor was the Cherry Red Velvet! Manna Kadar has been on a Apply Fritter craze since her pregnancy begun, so she really enjoyed the Apple Pie Donut!

Vacation Essentials & Makeup Tips

Vacation season has officially begun! School is almost out and we’re ready to take on new adventures. Whether you’re going somewhere hot, cold, or staying home, we have the perfect list of essentials, and makeup tips!

Traveling somewhere, hot hot hot? 

Makeup: When traveling to a tropical, warm climate we try to limit the use of makeup. Sometimes its tricky to wear makeup when you are spending the day in the water and sun. Using an oil free BB Cream or Tinted Moisturizer with SPF is a great touch to even our your skin tone. Add some waterproof mascara and a lip stain to complete this minimal makeup look.

Purse (Or Beach Bag!) Essentials: Always keep a water bottle on hand, staying hydrated is important since you will most likely be outside for the majority of the day. We also recommend bringing sunscreen for touch ups, chap stick to prevent dry lips, and blotting paper to remove any access face oils.

Traveling somewhere on the cooler side? 

Makeup: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! The dry cold air can leave your skin looking dull. Keep it glowing with a self-tanner or a shimmer lotion, like the Manna Kadar Sheer Glo. Top off the look with a liquid eye liner, mascara, and a tinted chap stick.
