Old Compacts into Solid Perfume

Now that you’re subscribe to your favorite products, what should you do with the empty compacts? Turn your old compacts into solid perfume!

What you’ll need?

-Sweet Almond Oil, or Jojoba Oil

-Fragrant Oils, we love Lavender and Rose Hips

-Empty compact container

Step One- Make sure your compacts are empty and cleaned out!

Set of make-up foundations products, different shades and textures.

Step Two- Depending on how much you would like to make you can work on equal parts beeswax and carrier oil. We used 2 tbsp of beeswax and 2 tbsp of jojoba oil.

Step Three- Fill a pot with water and place a heat safe bowl or a smaller pot in the boiling water to melt the mixture. Keep heat on low/medium and slowly stir as the mixture melts. Once your mixture is melted, add the fragrant oils. Add about 15-20 drops of oils per 1 tbsp. You can add more or less depending on how strong you’d like your perfume to be.

Step Four- Finally, pour out your mixture into the empty compacts. After a couple hours the wax will harden.

Now you can take your compact on the go! We love keeping it in our purse for quick perfume touch ups.
